Portland Jazz Singers Revue performing at the Pacific Crest Community Center - April 27, 2007
The benefit concert brings together some of the city's best know jazz vocalists. For this performance, the line-up features Sandy Dennison, Barbara Lusch, Karla Harris and Mitzi Zilka performing solos, duets and emsemble pieces, backed by Mark Simon on piano.
Thara Memory, renowned as a jazz trumpet player and as the founder and director of the American Music Program will kick off the show with a performance by his youth jazz band, the Pacific Crest Jazz Orchestra. The orchestra recently took first place honors at the Berklee College of Music high school band competition and is recognized nationwide.

What a blast!! It was truly standing room only. My friends were present, other jazz vocalists came to support me - I met people I think will become friends -the musicians were a dream come true. Wilf's supports it's musicians and I didn't sleep a wink all night, it was so exciting.
